A pair of unexpected-but-welcome survival horror games are on the way to Nintendo Switch. Both Dying Light Stay Human 2 – Cloud Version and Dying Light: Platinum Edition will be launching on Nintendo’s hybrid console. You can watch them both in action in this trailer:
As the name attests, Dying Light Stay Human 2 – Cloud Version is much like other “Cloud Version” Switch games that have preceded it, meaning players will have to be online in order to access and play the game remotely. It will be available to play on February 4, 2022. Dying Light: Platinum Edition, meanwhile, is the first game in the series and will be available as both a traditional eShop download or physical copy. That game is coming on October 19 with pre-orders open now.

In Dying Light 2 Stay Human – Cloud Version, master both parkour and tactical combat to survive in this brutal open-world action RPG. Explore alone or with up to three others in online co-op. Unravel the dark secrets of those in power during the day, then plunder the lairs of the infected at night. Choose sides and decide the fate of the City
And here’s what to expect from Dying Light: Platinum Edition:
Rove an infected world where only the strongest will make it. Master your combat skills to fight monsters of all kinds, both human and the undead. Parkour through the roofs, craft weapons, and help other survivors while you’re confronting your own nightmares!
Note that the Switch version of Dying Light has HD rumble, gyro and touch screen controls, and even co-op where players can set two Switch consoles side-by-side.
