If you’ve raced enough on the tracks of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or if you’ve grown weary of zooming the circuits in Team Sonic Racing, or if you’ve always wondered just how fast exactly a Chocobo is, then Square Enix has you covered. Chocobo GP is a kart racing game featuring “Chocobo characters” and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. It’s even a console exclusive!

Start your engines and get set for a new racing experience, featuring a roster of dozens of your favorite Chocobo characters, complete with their own unique abilities and variants. Equip Magicites and take out the competition as you drift through various familiar courses in online and offline multiplayer modes. Compete in tournaments and become the reigning champion of GP!
The roster doesn’t seem to be filled with the likes of Cloud or Squall, but the gameplay nonetheless seems fun, so maybe Chocobo GP will be worth keeping an eye on. We’ll fill you in as we learn more about the game.
