Last week, we discussed how the 3DS service Nintendo Badge Arcade would be releasing its last new set of content on June 22. Well, that final assemblage of badges has gone live, but apparently Nintendo Badge Arcade isn’t completely done with fans. First off, starting next week fans will be able to enjoy two free plays each day. Secondly, there’s a special Nintendo Badge Arcade 3DS theme available. Finally, there’s a promotion running from June 22 to 29 that sees every dollar spent rewarded with one of four Arcade Bunny badges.
Perhaps most interesting is the notion that Nintendo Badge Arcade apparently has a shot at seeing a revival on Switch. Arcade Bunny alludes to as much in the image above. It would be great to not just see the hyper-customizable stylings of these badges come to Switch, but also the ability to organize games on the hybrid console; as of right now, there’s no folder system or anything like that available to players. We’ll keep you posted as we find out more, but in the interim share your thoughts about the grand experiment that was Nintendo Badge Arcade!
