It’s pretty straightforward: Rayman is making a comeback. He’s leaping and bounding, faster and more agile than ever, combining the best of platformers past and more than making up for his missing limbs. The game’s called Rayman Legends, and for good reason: though he’s made a name for himself already, and even returned in great games like Rayman Origins on Wii and 3DS, this is no Raving Rabbids we’re talking about. It’s the legend himself, in a musical level reminiscent of both Rhythm Heaven and DOnkey Kong Jungle Beat. Check out the gameplay trailer below and let us know what you think!

Rayman Origins was sublime and clearly better than the bland New Super Mario Bros Wii due to the creativity and variety on display.
The only change for Rayman Legends is platform, as Ubisoft once again appears to have out-jumped Nintendo’s famous platforming mascot.
