WayForward has recently confirmed a sequel for Mighty Switch Force to be released on 3DS, and we may have gotten our first glimpse at it earlier this week when WayForward tweeted, “Who’s ready to Switch it UP?” Albeit a vague teaser, this tweet hints at a possible new game mechanic for the upcoming sequel. The tweet also contains a fire-filled screenshot fit for a game on 3DS. There seems to be an abandoned, crying baby in the middle of a desolate, burning town.
The sequel will be released sometime in the first half of this year– in other words, in the next couple of months. Mighty Switch Force is one of the best Nintendo eShop titles, and the Hyper Drive Edition is one of the best games on Wii U. I will definitely be on the lookout for the next WayForward game.
