For those excited for the latest Animal Crossing game in June, it’s nice to know that the folks in Japan have certainly taken to it.
In the latest sales charts in Japan, Animal Crossing: New Leaf has passed the 3 million sales mark. In other words, one in every four 3DS systems has this game in Japan. Those are some spectacular numbers to say the least. It adds some excitement for longtime fans of the franchise who are eager to find out what has changed.
Overall, Animal Crossing: New Leaf came in at number 2 on last week’s sales chart, which is astounding for a game that has been around for a while. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is holding steady at number 1, and Game & Wario is bringing up the rear at number 10.
