Few things are quite as amazing, or disheartening, as watching a good speedrunner. You might be good at a game, but to speedrun you not only need to know how to beat a game, you have to break and bend it to your very will, exposing and exploiting every fiber of a game to post times developers never would have dreamed of. With that said, both Mario 64 fans and speedrunners alike can now feel humbled because the world record has been broken.
