The day is finally upon us, a day that has been genuinely years in the making: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Is this one of those Switch 2 cartridges that will also play on an original Switch? Some do, some don’t; I need a human who’s plugged one thing into another to tell me whether it works. :^)
I can confirm the cartridge works on both consoles!
I had a hunch you’d be the one to come through and verify this for me! :^) (If I’d paid closer attention, the small print at the bottom of the package also says something to the effect of “this contains the Switch game plus the upgrade pack”.)
