Mercedes-Benz Course Comes to Super Mario Maker

Many Nintendo fans were slightly bemused when Nintendo teamed up with car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz for a trio of free, downloadable Mercedes karts in Mario Kart 8 last summer. (Our news editor Marc weighed in on the mini-controversy that surrounded that announcement.) It seems that wasn’t a one-off promotion, however, as the two companies have teamed up once again, this time for a Mercedes-Benz course in Super Mario Maker!

The Mercedes-Benz Jump’n’Drive stage is available as an Event Course in Super Mario Maker’s Course World. Clearing the level will earn players a new Mystery Mushroom costume based on the Mercedes-Benz GLA. Now you’ll be able to reenact the commercial that kicked off this unlikely series of cross-promotions!
