The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library has expanded once again. This time, it’s the Rare fighting game Killer Instinct Gold, which came to Nintendo 64 back in 1996. You can see it in motion in this trailer:
Killer Instinct Gold is a port of Killer Instinct 2. At the time, Mortal Kombat had taken the video game world by storm and this was Rare and Nintendo’s response to the series. However, Gold was a bit polarizing for its character animations as well as changes to the combo system. Still, its 2D battles against 3D environments remains engaging and is a welcome addition to Switch Online.
As ever, users must have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription in order to play. Will you be giving Gold a go? Share with us below and on social media!
