In today’s Nintendo Indie World broadcast, a handful of projects were shown off, and among the ones with some of the highest levels of anticipation surrounding them is the upcoming Sports Story. This sequel to the beloved Golf Story from developer Sidebar Games has been simmering for a while now. Over two years, to be precise, but the wait is very nearly over as Sports Story will be coming to Switch this December. Take a look at all of its gorgeous, pixelated glory in the trailer below:
Sports Story is set to feature a bunch of sports to play, including golf (naturally), tennis, cricket, mini golf, and more besides. There will also be dungeons to explore and other types of game mechanics to fool around with, making Sports Story quite an ambitious sequel when compared to its more focused predecessor (which itself was very daring with its own gameplay, to be fair).
