Hello Kitty Kruisers, the Wii U racing game starring Hello Kitty and friends, is zooming onto Nintendo Switch this spring.
Apparently this game is one of the rarest and most expensive Wii U titles — something which shocked me when I found out because I preordered and purchased it years ago when it came out on Wii U and I was still in college and working at GameStop. It’s hilarious to me that a game that I bought simply because I love Sanrio is now a highly sought after collector’s item. I even reviewed it back in 2014 which, according to Polygon, is apparently one of the only reviews that was written about it.
And when I say the game is highly sought after, I mean GameStop is selling it used for $79.99, while it’s been seen for as much as $277 on eBay (though you can get it digitally on the Wii U eShop for $19.99).
Well, for those of you that didn’t get your paws on the game back then – or, like me, have it on Wii U but would be happy to own it again – don’t fret, because you’ll be able to experience the multiplayer racer in the near future on Switch.
Hello Kitty Kruisers will be available physically and digitally when it launches on Switch.
