Rumors had begun to swirl that Guilty Gear -Strive- was coming to Nintendo Switch thanks to advertising at this year’s PAX West saying as much. Now, Arc System Works has made it official that Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition is indeed a thing and it will launch both digitally and physically on January 23, 2025. Here’s a first look at the game on Nintendo’s hybrid console:
This version of the game will be shipping with all 28 of the DLC fighters that were released across seasons one through three on other platforms. There are multiple modes to enjoy, including Story Mode, Another Story (which is “a full-length movie that follows what has been occuring in the background of the game’s main story”), and online battles (which include Rollback Netcode). Note, however, that Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition will not have crossplay.
