Bandai Namco has reportedly let go of almost 120 jobs throughout 2024. It has been reported that 117 jobs for the company have been dropped. When looking at the company’s overview, which originally stated to have 1,294 employees, this would mean the total has now fallen to 1,177 employees as of February 4, 2025.

It’s also being alleged that the Tokyo-based company was using “expulsion rooms” during this period of layoffs. These are places inside of a work location where employees are sent and given nothing to do, encouraging them to quit their jobs. Bandai Namco has yet to comment on the validity of these reports.
