Switch has slowly but surely been building up a decent chunk of the Assassin’s Creed back catalogue of games. The latest addition to this library will be Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection. It’s coming to Switch on February 17 both digitally and physically. You can see it in action in this new trailer:
Although The Ezio Collection has launched on other systems in the past, this iteration is being billed as unique thanks to the inclusion of HD Rumble, a new HUD, touch screen controls, and other Switch-specific features. So, what actually comes in The Ezio Collection? Glad you asked:
- Assassin’s Creed II
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations
There are also two short films that are part of the collection:
- Assassin’s Creed Lineage
- Assassin’s Creed Embers
If you’re looking to snag the physical release, note that not everything will be available on the cartridge. Only Assassin’s Creed II will come in the package, with everything else needing to be downloaded. It sucks, but at this point Switch owners have been conditioned to expect hefty downloads in compilations like these more often than not.
