Earlier today, Amazon listed Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut for Wii U, with a tentative release date of May 7. Although the listing has since been removed, it contained gameplay details of the new Wii U version. In particular, you can use the Wii U GamePad to activate the various gadgets used by Adam Jensen, the game’s protagonist.
There had been rumors that Square was planning to unveil a Wii U port of Deus Ex at this year’s PAX East convention, though as of right now that has yet to be confirmed.
Will Deus Ex follow in the footsteps of other critically acclaimed games like Batman: Arkham City, Assassin’s Creed III, and Mass Effect 3? More importantly, what is the target audience of this release? Since most of these major third-party titles have been released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, who will be purchasing the Wii U releases? I have played most of these titles on other systems, so I am a little impatient for real news– news about games like The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3.

This is a really good game. For WiiU owners who never got to play it I would recommend it highly.
I missed out on this when it was released for PS3, so I might get the Wii U version. I hope the GamePad features are well implemented.
