Nintendo released a slew of new trailers today, including one for Yoshi’s New Island, the 3DS sequel to the SNES classic Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. While the trailer doesn’t offer us too many new details, it does show off plenty of classic Yoshi gameplay, including egg tossing and flutter jumping. Thankfully, no sign of crying Baby Mario. Yet. Check out the trailer below!
I’m glad that Nintendo is bringing back franchises like this. I liked the first two and to see them doing this, let alone on the 3DS, makes it all the more entertaining. Keeping the look and feel of the game in tact helps too.
