The COVID-19 pandemic has been an incredibly difficult time for people all over the planet. The disease is tenacious and, as such, leaders around the globe have taken a number of measures to ensure public safety. For many of us, this means an indefinite period of time stuck at home. For gamers, this is a prospect not without a lot of possibilities. In an effort to look for the silver lining in this situation, we here at Nintendojo are going to be bringing out some reviews for games that you, our faithful readers, might be interested in purchasing and playing (or checking off an extensive backlog list) that came out in the not-too-distant past.
We’ll be publishing some reviews of titles that possibly slipped between the cracks over the past few months. We unofficially kicked this off with our review of Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, which you can read here. In the coming days and weeks more of these reviews of older titles will be hitting the site alongside our usual slate of news, reviews, and musings. These reviews will be labeled “Backlog Review” but will follow our usual review process and criteria. Let us know what you think and if there are any titles you might have been curious about over the past few months!
