Another Pokémon 30th anniversary announcement recently dropped, this time focused on the Pokémon TCG and its upcoming Pokémon 30th Celebration expansion. It had been announced back in June, but there weren’t any details on exactly what sort of form factor to expect for the new cards. Now, The Pokémon Company International has shown off the product lineup. Here’s what the press release had to say:
- 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box: Includes nine 30th Celebration booster packs, one illustration rare–style promo card featuring Nidorina and various gameplay accessories.
- 30th Celebration Poster Collection: Includes three 30th Celebration booster packs; three promo cards featuring Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres; and one full-size, two-sided poster featuring cards found in the 30th Celebration expansion.
- 30th Celebration Tech Sticker Collection: Includes three 30th Celebration booster packs; one foil promo card featuring Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario; and one corresponding sticker sheet for personalizing laptops, tablets and other tech devices.
- 30th Celebration Pokémon ex Box: Includes four 30th Celebration booster packs, one promo card featuring Sylveon ex or Greninja ex and one corresponding oversize card.
- 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection: Includes two 30th Celebration booster packs, one foil promo card featuring Eevee and one commemorative coin.
The new expansion will come to stores September 16, 2026. As ever, it’s unclear if real fans will be able to even get their hands on the 30th Celebration expansion as Nintendo and The Pokémon Company International have yet to address the issue of scalpers here in the U.S. So, if you want any of this, you’re going to have to be diligent.
