Nintendo continues to slowly lurch towards a proper Nintendo Direct broadcast with the reveal that tomorrow, 08.07.25, fans will be able to tune into an Indie World showcase. The company, as ever, made the announcement via its official X account. You can see the post right below:
Join us this Thursday, August 7 at 6am PT for a new #IndieWorld Showcase! Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

The fun kicks off at 6 AM PST. Fans can look forward to 15 minutes of announcements and updates pertaining to indie games coming to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. “Updates” will naturally get fans wondering about which previously announced indies might get some fresh news tomorrow—Hollow Knight: Silksong doubtlessly at the top of the list for many. It’s anyone’s guess what will be shown off, but by all means, deliberate amongst yourselves down in the comments and on social media!
