Last week, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company gave gamers a chance to once again acquire the legendary Pokémon Hoopa. As part of the series’ anniversary, players have been given more opportunities to acquire some of the rarest characters in the franchise. This week, fans will have another opportunity to do so as Volcanion is now available in most territories!
Volcanion is a Fire/Water type Pokémon. The final Pokémon in the Central Kalos Pokédex, Volcanion also starred in the film Pokémon: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. Unlike last week’s distribution event, Volcanion can only be acquired in North America by picking up a card from participating GameStop locations. The codes on each card can only be used with Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and not the upcoming Sun and Moon.
