Nintendo has announced a new, limited edition, Mario Red & Blue Edition Switch. This edition is a vivid red and blue. The color scheme extends to all aspects of the switch. This includes the dock, grip, Joy-Cons, straps, and even the console. There is also a collectible carrying case that fits the same theme. The system will be available for $299 from “select retailers” on February 12.
Some fans have already shown hesitancy towards this new look. Complaints range from the intensity of the color, the kickstand which remains gray, to the contrast of the red and blue. Regardless, this limited edition console will likely sell out fast.
