Mike Bithell’s platformer Thomas Was Alone will be making its way into the new generation this November as the game sees release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U. The game was originally released early in 2013, but the expansion of platforms means it will be able to make its way into more homes than ever before. The Wii U release will be available from the eShop and priced at $9.99/£6.99.
The gameplay of Thomas Was Alone takes place inside a computer, and the player controls a variety of shapes, all of which hold unique personalities and abilities. The titular character, Thomas, takes the form of a rectangle and the objective is to guide him through 2D platforming worlds.

I wonder if Nintendo is looking into working with Humble Bundle or Steam or any other cross-platform service when it comes to these indie games.
Seems a long shot, especially Steam, but I think it would be smart.
I have lots of indie games, including this one. (Unlike big publishers, indies often acknowledge Linux.) I’d like to play on Wii U too, but it’s hard to justify purchasing extra copies of any game. …Not that I don’t do it, it’s just not something anyone looks forward to. :^)
Never played this game, so I’m quite pleased to see it come to the Wii U! I know some gamers who could not stop ranting and raving about what a good game this is, so we’ll see if it lives up those claims.
