While Nintendo has yet to release a summertime Direct broadcast as it has been wont to do for so many years, there has been a steady trickle of announcements the past couple of months. The latest is news that the Steve and Alex Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo will finally be available for purchase starting on September 9.

There are still a handful of outstanding amiibo waiting to be launched as part of the Super Smash Bros. lineup, including Sephiroth of Final Fantasy VII and Sora of Kingdom Hearts. With the release of Minecraft’s Steve and Alex, the full lineup is that much closer to being fully assembled. Will you be picking up either of these figurines come fall? Sound off below!
