Koei Temco had a pleasant surprise for fans at last night’s The Game Awards ceremony: a new adventure from everyone’s favorite ninja series is on the horizon. Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is set to hit Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2025. What’s more, we even got to take a peek at them game thanks to this new trailer:
In Ragebound, players will take control of newcomer Kenji Mozu, who will act to defend Hayabusa Village while Ryu is busy in America dealing with his father’s will. Demons have entered human world and are swarming in greater numbers than ever before. Helming the development of this project alongside Koei Tecmo and Dotemu is The Game Kitchen, which is renowned for the Blasphemous series of games.
Boasting gorgeous pixel art, an upgradeable main character, and much more, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is sure to be on the radars of fans leading up to its launch next year.
