The TMNT quartet of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael are experiencing something of a (pardon the pun) renaissance these days. From new feature-films to video games, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have resurged in popularity and relevance thanks to fresh projects across numerous sectors of media and pop culture. The momentum is showing little signs of slowing down as yet another brawler starring the brothers is set to hit Nintendo Switch: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants. Take a look:
Developed by Cradle Games and Raw Thrills (the latter of which created the original game for arcades back in 2017), TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants revolves around the incarnation of the team from the 2012 cartoon series. This remaster has brought with it improved visuals, four-player co-op, three additional stages, and six extra boss battles. Fans of the 2012 cartoon might also be happy to hear that the original voice cast of Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, and Greg Cipes will all be reprising their roles for TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants. Players will be able to choose between digital and physical copies of the game when it launches on April 23, 2024.
