While the Switch’s smaller carts and cases have been seen in the wild, up until very recently, there hadn’t been any pictures of what the cases look like on the inside. That all changed this weekend when a Twitter user based in Australia somehow got their hands on a copy of Super Bomberman R and naturally showed it off for the world to see. We’ve embedded the pictures below for your viewing pleasure!
Konami has clearly done an excellent job with the interior art! While environmentally conscious gamers might bemoan the amount of packaging for such a tiny cartridge, it’s still a very appealing look. And given that some smaller, download-only games from the last decade have already been seemingly lost to time, it’s nice to see that the Switch will have a lot of smaller titles on physical media.

Looks amazing. I’m almost as hyped for 8 player Bomberman as I am Zelda.
