In a surprising move, Nintendo has announced a brand new downloadable stage for Super Smash Bros., based on the Wii U’s biggest new title: Super Mario Maker! Set to debut in just a few short weeks, the level will attempt to replicate the creation of a stage in the game, as Nintendo’s biggest icons do battle! Apparently, the level will appear differently every time it’s played! We’ve mirrored the debut trailer below!
While Wii U fans are currently the only ones that can enjoy Super Mario Maker, the stage will be available on both Wii U and 3DS. As usual, Nintendo will offer a discount for purchasing the level in both versions. The level will cost $2.49 for one version or $3.49 for both. The level will be available for download on September 30.
