Konami recently gave us a glimpse of some upcoming free DLC that is coming to Super Bomberman R on Switch.
The footage was shown as part of a Game Theorists livestream and, while not giving away much, indicates that we can expect to see new characters and stages as part of the DLC.
No further information has been released about the DLC or its planned release date, but we expect an official announcement will be made soon.
While Super Bomberman R had a lukewarm reception from some due to the lack of features compared to past Bomberman games, this hasn’t stopped the game from enjoying the best debut for the series in Japan since 1998. Konami is clearly committed to supporting the game, whether it is with DLC, or the recently released patch, which makes a number of improvements.
