Image & Form has announced the latest entry in the SteamWorld franchise, SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech, which is coming to Switch later this year.
SteamWorld Quest is described as an RPG card game in which players “lead a party of heroic steambots through a beautifully hand-drawn world and intense battles, using only your wits and a handful of cards“. It will include over 100 unique cards and features XP, turn-based battles, anf what the developer describes as a humorous mix of traditional fantasy and steampunk robots.

The developer hasn’t given SteamWorld Quest a release date yet, but we do know that the game will be available later this year and that it is coming to Switch first. More details on it’s story, gameplay and future platforms will be revealed in the coming months.
