Disney Interactive has officially pulled back the curtain on the next batch of figures headed to Disney Infinity 3.0. Based on the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a set featuring the film’s major protagonists, Finn and Rey, is scheduled for release. That set will retail for $34.99, and it will accompany a new scenario for the game, based on the movie.
In addition to those figures, two other major characters from The Force Awakens will also see release: antagonist Kylo Renn and Resistance pilot Poe Dameron. Both figures will retail for $13.99. A Power Disc set based on the film will also see release, at a price of $9.99.
Marvel fans will have some new figures to pick up in the near future, as well! Disney Interactive announced a 2016 release for three new Marvel figures for Disney Infinity 3.0: Ultron, Hulkbuster Iron Man, and a new Captain America, based on his appearance in the film Captain America: The First Avenger. Ultron and Hulkbuster Iron Man will presumably see release in a dual pack like Finn and Rey, and will also come with a new scenario, Marvel Battlegrounds. A villainous team-up between Ultron and Loki results in the heroes battling with one another in an arcade-style brawler. All of the previous Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel releases will be compatible with the scenario. We’ve mirrored a trailer for the scenario below!
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens figures will be released the same day as the film, December 18. The Marvel figures have a less specific 2016 release. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information as it becomes available.
