The Pokémon Company has unveiled its latest game, which will feature one of the most popular Pokémon in the long-running franchise.
Developed by Select Button, Splash! Magikarp, is a brand new Pokémon game for iOS and Android which will be released in Japan in spring 2017.
The game’s teaser site (which can be found here) doesn’t give much away, but a newspaper story listed there reports that two mysterious holes measuring 90cm have appeared in a town.
While few details have been revealed so far, I personally am hoping for an expanded sequel to the Magikarp minigame from Pokémon Stadium, complete with a deep RPG-style leveling system.
