Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Gets a New Trailer

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will launch on December 20, 2024, which is less than a month from now. As movie studios are wont to do, Paramount is keen to build up the hype for the film and thus, fans have a lovely new trailer to check out. Feel free to give it a watch. Go on, we’ll wait right here:

Finished? Pretty promising, wasn’t it? This writer thinks so, at least. The footage shows off the beloved Chao, even more of Gerald Robotnik, and we even got to see a recreation of the iconic shot of Shadow with pistol in hand atop his motorcycle. Sure, it’s probably a laser, but in this day and age it’s shocking SEGA and Paramount allowed the reference to exist at all.

Besides the trailer, Paramount also put out these beautiful new posters:

Sonic 3 centers around Sonic (Ben Schwartz), Knuckles (Idris Elba), and Tails (Colleen Ann O’Shaughnessey) doing battle with Dr. Robotnik and his father Gerald (both played by Jim Carrey), who have teamed up with Shadow (voiced by Keanu Reeves) to take over the world.
