There is certainly no shortage of crossover items in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate— in addition to the Mario and Luigi Felyne costumes that Capcom announced last year, fans will also be able to dress their Felyne partners in a special suit of armor based on Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog!
While the armor likely won’t make your Felyne any faster, it does come with a replica of Caliburn, the sword that Sonic wielded in his Wii outing, Sonic and the Black Knight.
That isn’t the only new collaboration coming to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate; Capcom also announced that players will be able to download a special Hunting Horn based on Taiko: Drum Master, the unique drumming-based rhythm game by Namco. Both the Sonic costume and Taiko Hunting Horn will be available in the North American and European versions of the game.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launches in North America in early 2015. The real question is, which costume will you choose for your Felyne: the Mario Bros., or Sonic? Let us know in the comments!
