The proper Lara Croft is coming back to finish what she started with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. The first three original PlayStation games in the series were given a new coat of paint and reworked controls this past Valentine’s Day, and while well received, many fans wondered if the rest of her early adventures would get the same treatment. Today, developer Aspyr revealed that this indeed would be the case, announcing Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered for Nintendo Switch. Take a gander:
This second trilogy of games features the following:
- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
- Tomb Raider: Chronicles
- Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness
As with I-III Remastered, this set of games will be released with updated visuals (which can be switched off whenever the player wants), an option for classic or modernized controls, a photo mode, and more besides. Hopefully this collection won’t be the victim of censorship and controversy like I-III Remastered was, but we’ll keep an eye on the situation once Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered launches on February 14, 2025.
