Speculation Arises: Unused Paraglider Skins in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom May Suggest the Arrival of New Amiibo Characters

“That’s not a bad idea.”

A new discovery from dataminers shows that Zelda Tears of the Kingdom contains some unused data that could be a hint at new amiibo figures. This unused data within the games code is actually two paraglider designs that cannot be obtained through normal gameplay. They are named the Princess Zelda fabric and The Gerudo King’s Fabric and can be seen in the showcase video below at 3:10 and 3:55.

To obtain these two specific paragliders, the player would have to scan the amiibo figures with the IDs 1049 and 1050. Yet neither of those IDs are associated with an amiibo figure that is currently released. This is leading some to believe that this may be a hint towards figures for Zelda and Ganondorf that haven’t been announced yet. Especially since the recent Tears of the Kingdom Link amiibo has an ID of 1048.

This is just speculation, and has not been confirmed to be true as of now. We will follow up with any updates on the situation.
