For what started as a love letter to old-school platformers of the past, Shovel Knight has proven to be remarkably successful. Not only was the indie title a major commercial and critical success, but it has also turned out to be quite marketable in terms of toys and other collectibles; the game even has the honor of spawning the first indie Amiibo. The franchise’s next stop on the road to world domination: plushy dolls.
Welovefine, an online store catering to the needs of a wide variety of fandoms, is selling a line of plushies featuring four characters from Shovel Knight. The first two, Shovel Knight and Troupple King, are already available, while Shield Knight and Plague Knight are now available for pre-order and are expected to ship in July, 2016. The three knights come with character-specific accessories, like shovels of course, that can be attached with multiple magnets found around the dolls. Troupple King, on the other hand, has no such accessories, but he can play music.
If you want to show your love for Shovel Knight in the cutest, cuddliest way possible, each of these plushies will set you back $28 USD.
