Nintendo of America Hires New Vice President of Corporate Affairs

Cynthia Gordon has filled the spot of vice president of Corporate Affairs for Nintendo of America, joining on March 14. She’s a PR expert with over twenty years of experience. Her previous occupation was at 360 PUBLIC RELATIONS in Boston, where she spearheaded consumer public relations campaigns and advanced the firm’s social media and digital efforts. Gordon will be situated in Redwood City, California and will report to Reggie Fils-Aime for the time being.

“Cindy brings a wealth of smart, strategic brand experience to our team,” Fils-Aime said. “As we prepare to launch our new Nintendo 3DS system on March 27, her expertise will keep our momentum going strong through the rest of the year.”

Gordon has done PR for Universal Studios in Los Angeles and Orlando, Florida, launching key rides and events. She’s also overseen external and internal communications for Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Togo’s, as well as running the Chrysler account for GolinHarris in Chicago, supervising launches for Dodge and Jeep.

Gordon graduated from Tulane University, earning bachelor degrees in political science and French literature.
