WiiWare Demos Coming November 22.

Nintendo has just announced that starting November 22, a small selection of WiiWare games will be available to demo. The first four games fans will be able to test out are And Yet it Moves, ThruSpace, Bit. Trip Fate and Jett Rocket. Additional demos will be added to the Wii Shop Channel for a limited time. This is a great idea, as gamers can now try out some WiiWare games before they buy them, but at the same time really unfortunate as each demo will only be available for a limited amount of time. Why not put the demos on the Shop Channel and leave them there?

The Last Story receives Wii Bundle in Japan

The upcoming Wii RPG by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi’s Mistwalker has been given the bundle treatment. In Japan, those who purchase the bundle will get a white Wii and classic controller pro, The Last Story, an art book, and a CD with the game’s soundtrack. Nintendo also mentioned that famed video game composer Nobuo Uematsu will be creating the game’s music. The Last Story looks even more like a hit now, and that’s a bundle I’d like to see outside of Japan.

Wii Version of Black Ops to Receive Update

Many owners of the recently released Call of Duty: Black Ops have reported problems connecting to online multiplayer matches. Treyarch, however, has a solution. They have been been working the problem and a fix is on the way. Coming straight from Treyarch:
“Wii Community,
Thank you for helping us to identify the various connectivity issues you have been experiencing. We have fixed many of the problems you have reported and are currently testing those fixes in anticipation of releasing an update.”
It’s nice to see Wii getting some support from a third party developer. It just goes to show that they stand behind their games.
