Pokémon Spring Regional Championships to be held in April

Calling all Pokémon trainers! Do you think that you have what it takes to become the champion of the Pokémon League? While you can’t challenge the Elite Four, this is the next best thing! The Pokémon Spring Regional Championships will be taking place in eight different cities in the United States and Canada on April 14 and 15. Players of the trading card game can compete on the 14 and video game players can compete on the 15. In order to participate, you must bring your own DS or 3DS system and a copy of Pokémon Black or White. Participants must also have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, which can be created for free on the official Pokémon website. The winners of these tournaments will advance to the National Championships. This is all leading up to the Pokémon World Championships, which will be taking place this August in Waikoloa, Hawaii. So, while it is true that you can’t go to the Pokémon League, you can still become the Champion.
