River City: Tokyo Rumble for Nintendo 3DS launched September 27 on the eShop and in low quantities as a physical game in select online retailers. It looks like Amazon’s stock of the game has completely run dry, far exceeding publisher Natsume’s projections.
Natsume is working to get Amazon restocked as quickly as possible so gamers who wanted a physical copy of the game will be able to do so. All of these copies will also include a special Kunio-kun keychain. There is currently no estimate on the date of the restock, but Natsume is pleased that the game is receiving such enthusiastic support.
River City: Tokyo Rumble is the localized version of Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun SP: Rantou Kyousoukyoku which was released in Japan. The game is part of the long running series of games that date back to River City Ransom on NES.
