For a while, it seemed like Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise had lost its way, gradually moving away from its classic horror roots to disappointingly generic action. However, that trend started to turn around when Capcom released Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS back in 2012. The game excited fans and critics alike, resulting in a port to many other platforms as well as a console sequel in 2015. Soon, gamers will be able to experience both adventures on Switch.
The two titles will be released in a few different ways, both together or separately. The Resident Evil Revelations Collection will retail for $40 and includes a physical copy of the first game alongside a download code for the sequel. Those who would rather keep everything digital can download each game separately for $20 a piece.
Unfortunately, Capcom didn’t release much in the way of additional details. They did confirm the titles would be released later this year, but no specific date was given.
