If you’ve yet to participate in the Splatoon Global Testfire, you’ll have one more chance to go hands-on with the colorful new shooter tomorrow, May 23, when Nintendo hosts a final round of the Global Testfire demo.
Like the previous rounds, tomorrow’s Testfire will only be accessible during a specific time, in this case 3-4 PM Pacific Time. The demo randomly pairs players up in Splatoon’s signature Turf War mode, in which two teams of four compete to cover as much of the battle arena with their ink as possible. To take part in the demo, simply download it from the Wii U eShop and play it during the designated time.
We had a lot of fun with the initial rounds of the Global Testfire, so if you haven’t had a chance to try Splatoon for yourself, you won’t want to miss out on tomorrow’s demo!
Will you be taking part in the final Testfire? Let us know in the comments!
i have tried to login. Participated on 1 online match. Then, got out of room and couldn´t get inside another for 30 minutes. I hope the actual game isn´t like that ._.
Yeah, connection issues were rampant on Saturday. I wasn’t able to connect to a game until Nintendo extended the Testfire. It worked well after that, but I hope the initial hour of Saturday’s Testfire isn’t indicative of what launch day will be like.
they extended it? Aww, i gave up after 30 minutes trying ._.
Yep, the Testfire was extended by another hour due to all the connection issues. Sorry you missed it. I suspect a lot of other people gave up as well since it was pretty easy to connect during the second hour. :P
