Did anyone else feel a shiver of excitement from just the sight of the headline for this article, alone? Yeah… we’ll just shut up and get to the good stuff:
That’s right, one of the most wonderful handheld game’s ever made (this writer would argue one of the greatest games, period) is headed for Switch in 2019. It’s a very vague release window for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, but what are the odds that a Zelda title doesn’t drop during the much vaunted “holiday shopping season?” Of course, with all those palm trees, maybe it’ll be a summer release…
Regardless, we don’t know when it will be here exactly, but the good news is that Link’s Awakening is coming—again! It’s yet to be revealed what will or won’t make the trip from the Game Boy version to this Switch iteration, but finger’s crossed for some new take on the old Game Boy Camera functionality!
