This November’s release of the NES Mini will give many gamers their first opportunity to play some of the most influential games of all-time. That same month, Prima, best known for their strategy guides, will release Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics, a book that should make a strong companion for the NES Mini. Regardless, fans old and new will likely find quite a bit to enjoy in the upcoming book.
The book will feature a behind-the-scenes look at 17 classic NES titles, from Donkey Kong to The Legend of Zelda. The book will compile a number of interviews, commentaries, old advertisements, and excerpts from classic issues of Nintendo Power. The hardcover book comes in a slipcase designed to look like a classic NES cartridge.
Playing With Power: Nintendo NES Classics will release November 18, one week after the NES Mini.
