Although The Indigo Disk just made its arrival last week on Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are not quite done with fans. Revealed today on X, The Pokémon Company announced that an epilogue to The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC will be coming on January 11, 2024. You can get a glimpse of it in this 40 second trailer:
Although the epilogue is free, it will not be immediately accessible to players. First, “a certain postgame event” must be completed, along with both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk expansions, before the epilogue can be accessed. While we don’t totally know what this epilogue will entail, it’s evident from the trailer that more adventure awaits this crew of Trainers and something new (a Pokémon?) will be introduced before all is said and done.
Note that while the epilogue is free, players will need to have bought and downloaded The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC in order to experience it (and the expansion must be bought for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet individually, as well). Will you be checking this out? Let us know below and online!
