Today’s Pokémon Presents was quite full of Pocket Monster-related news, but one tidbit might be of interest to fans who haven’t upgraded to a new Nintendo Switch 2. Starting on October 16, 2025, fans will be able to go to select retailers and pick up a special Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 bundle. It will have an MSRP of $499.99 and includes a digital copy of the game.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A artwork on the box, the Nintendo Switch 2 itself is just the standard version of the console. No special Joy-Con 2, no special Dock, nothing. If that’s cool with you, pre-orders will open on July 23 (tomorrow!), so be sure to head to your retailer of choice and be ready to reserve yours.
