The Pokémon Company has revealed that in their first three days on sale, Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee sold more than three million units worldwide.
The news follows an announcement made earlier in the week by Famitsu that the Pokémon Let’s Go games had together sold 664,198 copies during that time in Japan alone (although this figure didn’t account for digital sales). In fact, the game is selling particularly well in Japan and helped sell 180,585 Switch consoles that week, three time the number sold in the previous week.
According to the Pokémon Company, the two games are in fact the fastest selling games on Switch to date — a particularly impressive feat given that the console also features the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey.
Both Pokémon Let’s Go games were released globally on November 16. Our review is still in the works but, in the meantime, be sure to let us know you thoughts on the game in the comments below.
