After silently launching in New Zealand and Australia earlier this week, Pokémon Go, the joint collaboration between The Pokémon Company and mobile developer Niantic, has finally be released on the iOS and Google Play stores in the United States.

Unlike mainline Pokémon titles, Pokémon Go uses augmented reality to make Pokémon appear around the real world, encouraging players to go to that location and capture them. Players can also use the Pokémon they catch to battle for control of Gyms, which are established at different real-world locations.

You can watch the launch trailer for Pokémon Go below.

Have you downloaded Pokémon Go yet? What do you think of the title? Let us know in the comments!
