Can’t wait for Pokémon: Detective Pikachu to hit theaters? The accompanying Burger King Kids Meal promotion has officially kicked off at participating locations. Unsurprisingly, the great (electric) mouse detective is first out of the gate!

Hard as it may be to believe, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu will release in theaters in just over a month’s time. Already plenty of tie-in merchandise has been revealed, but we now have our first look at a fast food promotion for the film!
Thanks to some leaked images from a Burger King restaurant in Mexico, we now know that the fast food franchise will feature at least six figures from the film: Pikachu, Mewtwo, Psyduck, Bulbasaur, Loudred and Arcanine. BK’s signature crowns will also be offered, this time featuring Detective Pikachu, naturally. You can get a closer look at the toys by clicking any of the thumbnails below!
While Pokémon toys have been offered at Burger King in the past (most notably to promote Pokémon: The First Movie), it is a bit surprising to see these toys land there as opposed to McDonald’s. That particular fast food chain has played host to the last few Pokémon promotions, as recently as late last year. As of this writing, no official announcement has been made by Burger King or The Pokémon Company, but the figures should arrive sometime next month.
